Forward to the Past
This home built in 1897 has the functionality of today while honoring the past with custom moldings, custom cabinetry, and the use of materials.
Marble Master Bath Retreat
We redesigned the master bath in this turn-of-the-century home to look vintage, but function in the modern world. The 6-ft. double slipper soaking tub provides plenty of room for relaxation. Accessories find their places tucked away in the custom vanity pullouts. Toe-kick LED lighting softly illuminates at night and the in-floor heating is programmed to warm your first steps in the morning. The spacious shower has versatile options with a multi-function shower head and wand.
Historic Kitchen Expansion
This 1906 three-story Colonial Revival home's kitchen and added-on family room didn't serve the homeowners lifestyle. They wanted to make both spaces feel like one big room, but the 18" thick structural brick wall stood in the way. We opened up the wall which is now supported by steel posts and beams and wrapped in quarter-sawn oak to blend with the home's existing woodwork.
